City Attorney
Responsibilities
Cary serves as the appointed city attorney for several municipalities throughout Texas. For the City, Cary serves as counsel to the City Manager and City Council, as well as serves as the City's prosecutor for municipal court cases.

Experience
Prior to founding the Law Office of Cary L. Bovey, PLLC in 2009, Cary co-founded the firm of Bovey & Bojorquez, worked in a thriving solo practice and was an associate with Brown McCarroll Sheets & Crossfield, LLP, and a shareholder in Sheets & Crossfield, PC, where his practice focused on serving municipal clients.

Much of Cary's experience was obtained as Assistant General Counsel for the Texas Municipal League (TML).

Education
Cary received his Doctor of Jurisprudence from the University of Texas School of Law and his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Texas A&M University.

Personal Life
He is active in his community's youth sports activities and has served on the Charter Review Commission and the Local Law 
Enforcement Block Grant Advisory Board for the City of Round Rock.
