Donations & Book Sale Room
Navasota Public Library welcomes your book and magazine donations. There are regulations to what we can and cannot accept. We thank you for your generosity!
We Can Accept
-Recent Bestsellers
-Clean copies of classic titles
-Large print books
-DVDs and music CDs
-Recent issues of magazines
-Puzzles and games
We Cannot Accept
-Books in poor condition with yellowed pages, broken bindings, or musty smells
-Textbooks
-Outdated books (Books over 15 years old that are not classics)
-VHS tapes
-Cassettes
If you have books you wish to donate, please bring them inside during library hours. Please do not leave them outside as they often get wet and dirty and are unusable. Thank you again for your generous donations!
Book Sale Room
Our book sale room is open during Library hours and purchases go towards library programs and supplies. Hardbacks are $1 and paperbacks are 50 cents. Watch our Facebook page or outdoor sign for special Stuff a Bag Sales!
Monetary Donations
Interested in sponsoring our Summer Reading Program? Funds go towards presenter fees, prizes and meals for the children. Contact the Library today at (936) 825-6744!
Looking for a special way to honor a loved one? Donations can be made toward book memorials. Tell us the book you have in mind or allow us to choose one and we will place a special memorial plate in the front of the book.
